We do not collect or publish any private user related information from any such services. All of the information we collect and publish has already been made public and we do not collect any sensitive data (race, religion, sexual orientation etc).
• We collect this trend information in order to provide this website to you. This website is intended to help you understand what themes are currently trending online. We do not use this trend data for marketing or advertising. Our basis for collecting and publishing this data (within the European Union) includes article 89 of the GDPR which covers archiving purposes in the public interest. Providing public access to useful trend information also constitutes a “legitimate interest”.
TREND INFORMATION: Use of YouTube API Services
PopRanker uses YouTube API Services to retrieve publicly available YouTube channel and video information for analytics and reporting features within the PopRanker website. For questions around this, you can contact us using our contact page.
The YouTube API Data that PopRanker may access, collect, store and display includes publicly available information such as:
- channel names;
- channel thumbnails or profile images;
- video titles;
- video thumbnails;
- subscriber counts;
- view counts;
- like counts, where available;
- country or region information, where available;
- category, topic or grouping information, where available;
- other public YouTube metadata returned by the YouTube Data API.
PopRanker does not ask users to sign in with a Google or YouTube account. PopRanker does not request Google or YouTube OAuth permissions from users. PopRanker does not access private YouTube account data, YouTube Analytics API data, YouTube Reporting API data, private playlists, private videos, private subscriptions or other authorised YouTube account data.
PopRanker does not allow users to upload, modify, delete, like, comment on, subscribe to, manage playlists, or otherwise act on YouTube content through the app.
PopRanker uses YouTube API Data to show sorted, filtered and searchable lists of publicly available YouTube channels and videos, including headline metrics such as subscribers, views and likes where available.
PopRanker may cache or store limited YouTube API Data to operate the website efficiently, improve performance, and provide analytics and reporting features. Stored YouTube API Data is refreshed or deleted in accordance with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. Public YouTube API Data retrieved without user authorisation is not stored for more than 30 calendar days unless it has been refreshed within that period or unless a shorter period is required.
PopRanker does not sell YouTube API Data, does not provide an API that redistributes YouTube API Data, and does not share YouTube API Data with third parties except service providers needed to host, secure, maintain and operate the website.
PopRanker uses YouTube API Services and is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Deleting or excluding data from PopRanker does not delete or alter data held by YouTube. To delete or change data on YouTube, you must use YouTube's own services or settings.
WHERE DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 736 of the UK Companies Act 1985.

All of the trend data we hold is published on our website, which you can view.
We do not hold other personally identifiable data beyond the data explained above under (1) and (2). Such data can be requested from us, although we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee, depending on the work that may be required to obtain it.
DELETING YOUR INFORMATION
We showcase public trending brands, celebrities and topics on our website. We do not track private information. If you are a brand or celebrity and wish to hide information, we recommend changing privacy settings across your social and other accounts - we will not show or track any information when it has been made private.
